Vedic Śanti Stotra

Śanti is the standard practice taken for granted by every spiritual tradition in India and if you haven't begun its practice now you should start and begin asking for peace in your life. This is recommended by Parāśara Muni for all those suffering from problems from Mars in their charts, especially during Mars Daśā and Antaradaśā.
The following Stotras are from the 4(5) veda and are chosen based on the Veda one follows.

Navagraha mantra questions

vyāṁ vyāsadevāya namaḥ|
Dear Śiṣya, Namaste.
You have asked some questions which would benefit many to get answered. With your permission, I am here displaying the my answer on the website.
  • ॐ ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं चामुण्डायै विच्चै (om aiṁ hrīṁ klīṁ cāmuṇḍayai viccai)| is correct.
  • When हुं (huṁ) is used with फट् (phaṭ) as the ending of the mantra then it retains a laghu उ (u) thus making it हुं (huṁ).

vyāṁ vyāsadevāya namaḥ|
Dear Renita, Namaste.
The word Tantra means 'protecting the body' (tanu+trayi) whereas Mantra means 'protecting the mind'. The means to do this usually implies using the energy of or imbibing spiritual energy into certain objects, like gemstones, talismans, roots, herbs, clothes, etc. Even the clothes we wear have the purpose of providing some tantra to us.

Mahābharata astrological phenomena

Mahābharata, a work of Śrī Vedavyāsa, is an Ithihasa, or account of former events, on the epic battle which laid the foundation for the current era or Kali Yuga. Dating Mahābharata has been attempted by several scholars in modern times. Attempts have been made using archaeology, historical accounts, and most prominently Jyotish, i.e. astrology and astronomy. The dating of the Mahābharata is an important exercise for astrologers as the event succeeded the births of several celestial incarnations such as the five Pandavas, Śrī Balarāma and most prominently Śrī Kṛṣṇa himself.
