Visti Larsen, Jyotishi
I was born in 1981, and have spent most of my professional life studying and practicing Vedic Astrology. Despite my birth and early-upbringing in Mombasa, Kenya, I was exposed to Vedic beliefs of Gods and Goddesses that came fully to fore in my early teens in Denmark. My family and I practice a fully vegetarian lifestyle, meditate daily and follow the spiritual tradition of Śrī Śarada Matha, Calcutta, India.
My Jyotiṣa teacher is Pt. Sanjay Rath, whom I owe my knowledge to since 2001. Through my Guruji I am a part of the Vedic Tradition of Śrī Achyutānanda Dasa.
I’ve been a professional Jyotishi since 2004, thanks to the instigation of the Khanna family in late 2003. I practice horoscope consultations daily, besides teaching Astrology courses both in my school Rāma Academy and my teacher’s school, Devaguru Bṛhaspati Centre.

My Guruji, Pt. Sanjay Rath, has created and taught three high-level Traditional Jyotiṣa programs through Devaguru Bṛhaspati Center, and continues to create great astrologers all-over the world. The popular courses of

Raja yoga is a topic touched by many and questioned by as many. The amount of possible combinations forming rājayoga is completely overshadowed by the amount of charts and people who do not experience the same. A simple example is the combination between a Kendra and Trikoṇa lord which though is said to be a rājayoga, has little conceivable outcome for the native.
As evident, most of the cases of kāla amṛta/sarpa yoga cause delays and in some few cases also a complete denial of professional pursuit, until the issue is remedied. The cases cited above are the lucky ones, whilst many soul’s lives are quite trapped by the yoga and have yet to find any relief or stability in their life as a result. Due to the intense grasp of the nodes on the chart, some say that the leading node in the yoga (Rāhu for kāla sarpa, and Ketu for kāla amṛta) act as a temporary ātmakāraka until the yoga reaches its culmination.
Venus is also the only planet breaking the kāla amṛta yoga by being joined one of the nodes, showing the sister, aunt or even of marriage are important ties to ensure the bonds of the kāla amṛta yoga are broken.

Chart 1: Male In the given chart, all the grahas exist between the nodes. Rāhu heads the grahas, and thus the yoga is kāla sarpa yoga. Rāhu is placed in the lagna and being the sixth lord can show enmity and disruption within the family. Kāraka for the sixth house and...

Kāla Sarpa Yoga is one of the most feared and discussed yogas in Vedic astrology. Whilst its classical reference is uncertain, it’s equated to the nabhasa yogas as it has an overriding effect on the chart much like the nabhasa yogas.
